Building a Global Smart Manufacturing Benchmark — Vanward Electric Thailand New Factory Officially Breaks Ground

On May 23, the second factory of Vanward Electric (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (Phase III of the Thailand Manufacturing Base) officially broke ground in Chonburi Province, located in Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC). Vanward Electric Vice President Edmond Yeung, General Manager of the International Marketing Center Zhang Ruiquan, General Manager of Vanward Electric (Thailand) Co., Ltd. Huang Zhifeng, along with representatives from the Chonburi provincial government and construction partners, jointly turned the first soil with shovels, marking the beginning of a new phase of development for Vanward’s Thailand manufacturing base.

In his speech, Vice President Edmond Yeung stated that the groundbreaking of the new factory represents a significant milestone in the implementation of Vanward’s global expansion strategy. The facility will not only serve as a manufacturing hub but also become a platform for technological innovation, management advancement, and talent development. It will serve as a new foundation for Vanward’s global strategy—leveraging Thailand as a strategic base to expand across Southeast Asia and global markets—and marks a key step toward building an industry-leading smart manufacturing lighthouse factory.

Looking ahead, Vanward will continue to leverage a dual-engine growth strategy driven by both domestic and international markets. The company will remain focused on its core businesses in water heating and heating solutions, strengthen its presence in the domestic kitchen and bathroom appliance sectors, and continue expanding its household appliance business.
